We join hands to develop education by means of love and family visit is not only one of the important means of school education, but also a form of moral education carried out by Anqing Foreign Language School on a long-term basis, which is always highly valued by the school leaders, earnestly practised by teachers and warmly welcomed by parents.
Initially on 3rd February, at the risk of minus five degrees, led by Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong, Deputy Director Xu Haihong and teacher Wang Tao arrived at student Huang Yuxin’s house to pay a visit, who was from Class 1, Grade 12.
Obviously, the Huang Yuxin family was pleasantly surprised. Huang Yuxin went downstairs to greet the visiting teachers and her family expressed their joy with plain enthusiasm. The home environment was simple, but the arrival of the teachers filled it with warm, happy laughters and cheerful voices.
For one thing, President Madam Huang Wenli had a talk with Huang Yuxin to know about her family condition. Also, Madam President introduced the school running situation and discussed the integration of home-school education.
For another, President Madam Huang Wenli talked with Huang Yuxin on many other issues, such as her learning conditions during the winter vacation, the College Entrance Examination, life, ideals and the future. What’s more, Madam President brought Huang Yuxin a small present which she was very fond of. Other than that, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong humorously advised Huang Yuxin to finish her physics homework well and get good grades in the College Entrance Examination.
In a nutshell, family visit not only brings students the concern and strength from school, but also gives them confidence and hope. By means of home visiting, Anqing Foreign Language School and her teachers can further proceed the in-depth understanding towards students’ family background, learning environment and other aspects to be award of more issues, which shall help teachers implement the education and teaching work to continuously promote students’ development.
